Would anyone be interested in working on a fic experiment?

I found this thing called Ether Pad("EtherPad is the only web-based word processor that allows people to work together in really real-time.") and it gave me half an idea. I was thinking maybe we could start writing a story in it and see what happens, just bookmark it and edit as we go, maybe post the results after a certain amount of time. Maybe have multiple ones, to serve different fandoms. It may also even be a fun way to repair my original idea for the community, if we create a few every month for the challenge.. I dunno, it's still an idea in progress, but I was wondering what people though. And if their is interest, I can promise not to accidentally abandon the comm again, because now I have the lovely Google Reader ^_^

I am sorry that I lost it so far. I have stupid shit going on with life and work and money, and I just haven't had much creativity left, but lately I have started writing spontaneous songs in my head and half stories again. And I would really like to try to get back into creativity.

Sorry for babbling. I would love to hear what people think, if anyone hears this.

The etherpad I started at random is here if you want to check it out, and maybe write something random on it, just say hello or whatever?

I really like this idea. It's like when you sit in a group and go around in a circle and everyone adds a detail or bit to the story. Different ones for different fandoms could be cool (providing there's enough interest for a particular fandom), but one big multi-fandom etherpad could be cool. Choatic, maybe, lol, but cool. Cause I'm just imagining a story about like Gilmore Girls turning into an orgy with people from Freaks & Geeks and members of Fall Out Boy.

Come to think of it, if I knew (or cared) more about GG, I would totally write that myself right now, lol!

So I say yes! To the EtherPad. :-D

My aunt is reading a multi chapter Buffy story where each chapter is a crossover with a different thing. Xander is now travelling with a Fraggle ^___^

See, that's the thing, I get ideas, but I can't expand them, and I am sure I am not the only one, so I am sure this could be a lot of fun, but we need to find people to play with ^_^

It could turn crazy huge, like your shoebox project, but first it has to start, you know?

Oh my God, Fraggles! That's awesome.

Oh, you're definitely not the only one. I have notebooks and things full of ideas that I haven't started and/or finished. Some I probably will finish some time, but others have just been sitting around.

Ah man, I miss Shoebox Project. I need re-read it and hope that they start working on it again, lol. And you're right about that. Give me a couple of days, all my notebooks are in a pile behind my bed, so I can't get to them quickly, but when I do I will see if there's anything that would be a good starting point. Or maybe see if I can come up with something new. :-)

I have ideas, I have to start listening to my music again and write them down. What I most want that I can think of at the mo is to post a half assed story I wrote ages ago and get help filling it out, because I loved the idea but had trouble seeing much original in it, just a an epic fanvid.

(I can link you to the Buffy story if you want)

It's weird, I haven''t had any fic ideas in a very long time, why is that.
